CEB membership is the relationship between the Member and Commodity Exchange Bratislava.

Free Carbon Membership

Free Carbon Membership (FCM) is membership type with no entry fee, but higher trading fee. Members are allowed only to trade carbon credits - EUA, CER, ERU and AAU.

FCM trades directly in the system, but the trading goes through accounts of the brokerage company.

FCM can use all guarantee systems of the exchange. With Guarantee system 1, there is a collateral 5%.

Entry process

1. Fill in the KYC Form 2. Choose a brokerage company and sign a commission agreement 3. FCM will be granted

Fees

  • No entry fee
  • No annual fee
  • Trading fee depends on the brokerage agreement - TT Consulting offers trading for 0,015 EUR/Credit

Direct exchange membership

Direct exchange membership (DEM) is member of the Exchange that pays lower trading fee, but pays higher entry fee.

Process of becoming DEM

1. Submit legal information (By email, fax, or at the CEB website)

  • Name of the trader
  • Contact information
  • Name of the company
  • Identification company number
  • Tax identification number
  • Foreign companies must submit latest annual accounts/Balance sheet

2. Entry fee invoice must be paid 3. Access permissions will be granted to the Information systems of the Exchange

Fees

  • Entry fee: 2000 €
  • Annual fee: 1000 €
  • Certification of broker: 1000 + 100 € (Certification is necessary only to trade other commodities such as wheat, corn, diamonds)
  • Trading fee: 0.01% of the contract value (if traded 200.000 tn for 20 eur, then trading fee should be 400 €)
  • Trading fee for carbon credits: 0.001 EUR/Credit (if traded 200.000k EUA for 10 EUR, trading fee will be 200 EUR)

Gold exchange membership

Gold exchange membership (GEM) is member of the Exchange that pays no trading fee, but pays high entry fee.
